This Construct NSW course is for developers and builders in the Class 2 market who want to improve their procurement processes and quality assurance practices. It’s considered mandatory for all developers and builders that join the Building Commissioner’s ‘Trustworthy Construction Group’. It is expected that developers may mandate this course for their project managers and other key staff, and it will provide CPD points for builders, certifiers and other licensed practitioners.
The course focuses on the procurement processes and quality assurance practices that are critical to the construction of a quality development. It will demonstrate best-practice for processes around scoping, contracting, and procuring services for a project, including the embedding of practices surrounding the governance of procurement contracts and the payment for works completed.
- Scoping the end-to-end project
- Procurement processes to engage trusted and qualified designers and constructors

- Validating qualifications and licences of trades, installers, and other professionals
