An Electrician’s Guide to EV Charging

This course is designed to provide electricians with an insight into the EV Charging industry and provide you with the tools and means to safely, correctly and confidently provide EV Charging services for different clients. By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Consult with clients to understand their EV charging station needs and identify a solution fit for purpose
• Conduct a site assessment for the suitability of the desired infrastructure
• Safely and correctly install the recommended charging station
• Conduct regular maintenance and solve technical issues
• Advise customers of appropriate government funding grants or programs to offset installation costs

As you work through the course, you will have the opportunity to answer some questions and progressively check your understanding. Complete the assessment quiz and the feedback activity to obtain your Certificate of completion.
