An Electrician’s Guide to EV Charging

This course is designed to provide licensed electricians with additional insights, advice and information when working with EV Charging stations in residential and commercial contexts. The training will provide complementary skills to those gained in your trade qualification that are specific to the EV Charging industry and enable you to confidently provide EV Charging services for different kinds of clients.
On completion of this course, you will be more confident to:
- Consult with clients to understand their EV charging station needs and identify a solution fit for purpose
- Provide advice to customers of appropriate government funding grants and programs to offset installation costs
As the learner works through the course, they will have the opportunity to answer some knowledge questions relating to the content. Completion of the assessment quiz and the feedback activity will allow the learner to obtain a certificate of completion.
Duration: 1 hour

Please note that you need to be a qualified, licenced electrician to install EV chargers. This course does not provide any formal qualifications and is for the continuing skills development of qualified and competent individuals.

Participants are required to complete the course within the TAFE NSW LMS. There is currently no option available to host courses on external LMS platforms.
If you would like to purchase courses for your staff (less than 10), each participant will need to complete the checkout process separately (e.g. select the “ADD TO CART” button for the desired course or courses, and then continue through the checkout process). The participant’s details are to be entered in the “ACCOUNT DETAILS” section. The relevant credit card details can then be entered in the credit card payment section. The screenshot below shows an example of the checkout screen and where to enter this information.
The details entered in the “ACCOUNT DETAILS” section will be used to create an account for the participant. The participant will then receive a confirmation email with login instructions. If the course is a paid course, they will also receive an invoice for your records.
If the same PC or device is being used to process multiple orders, please ensure you are logged out after each order is complete.
