Course Overview

Learn about the responsible supply of alcohol by same day delivery in NSW. This course covers the knowledge and skills to meet your responsibilities to supply alcohol responsibly in NSW and the importance of your role as a same day delivery person.

The course includes how to:

  • comply with your legal obligations
  • recognise intoxication
  • reduce the risk of supply of alcohol to minors
  • ensure your personal safety when delivering alcohol.

Passing the RSAT assessment and obtaining the RSAT certificate is mandatory in NSW to make same day alcohol deliveries to the public. As you work through this course, you have the opportunity to check your learning by answering some questions, followed by the formal assessment quiz at the end. You must pass the final assessment to obtain the RSAT certificate.

There are 12 questions. You have up to three attempts and must score 100% to pass. If you fail on the third attempt, you must pay to re-enrol in the course and contact TAFE Support to reset your account to re-attempt the course and assessment.

Duration: 1hr 20 mins if completed in one sitting. You can start the course, leave, and come back later. Includes a final assessment which will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Delivery: Online – Six months access. If you do not complete the course within six months, you will need to re-enrol.

Validity: Your RSAT certificate is valid for a period of five years. To renew you need to complete the RSAT and pass the Liquor & Gaming NSW RSAT assessment prior to the certificate expiry date.
