Course Overview
In this course, you will learn the essential watershedding design principles, focusing on effectively managing water in and around below-ground structures. This course applies to the design and construction of any new buildings that include components below ground level.
This course covers:
- why basements often leak
- how to assess your current design and determine the potential leak flow paths
- how to gather and coordinate design inputs and implement corrective measures for mitigating the risk of unwanted water entry.
As you work through the course, you will have the opportunity to answer some questions and progressively check your understanding. Complete the assessment quiz and the feedback activity to obtain your CPD certificate of completion.
